The trendy story in the main stream media and on social media is about the former deputy Senate president of Nigeria, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, who is accused of organ harvesting.
Nigeria, on the other hand, is best described as a drama theater. When you think that you have seen it all, then a surprise “Boom!” blows your mind away.
How the public react to the news
Following the ongoing controversy over the alleged organ harvest level against senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, the story has been the center of discussion on the lips of many Nigerians.
If you keep your ears down, you will be surprised at the kind of thing you will hear.
Some people went as far as saying that this is how politicians mess with our lives so that they can easily use us to replace their own lives.
If this event turns out to be true, only God knows how many Nigerians the politicians have used illegally to replace their damaged organs and those of their families members.
Some argue that Ekweremadu is a victim of the monster that politicians have created. What does this imply?
Insincerity and insensitivity
A typical Nigerian politician will promise the electorate something they know that they will never deliver when they get into power.
They build the hope of the masses when they are looking for power and disappoint them when they get there.
The politicians promised whatever they thought that it would sound sweet and nice in the ears of the people to win elections.
The country is currently in disarray due to the insincerity of its politicians, and it is getting worse by the day.
The repercussions of our insensitivity
Even an uncorrupted mind can be changed by the way politicians disregard the masses. It’s unclear what happened to the young man in question.

Could it be that this alleged 15-year-old boy was truly exploited or was he the one using the politicians’ tricks to get what he wanted, and that was to leave the country?
Maybe he promised to donate his kidney to the senator’s daughter so that he could leave the country.
This is a sad reality confronting the country. As much as I sympathize with Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his family for their daughter’s illness, we must also separate the lies from the fact.
This is a matter of urgency. We must find a way to somehow build trust and be sensitive to the plight of others in the country.
The insincerity does not help the country in anyway. Even though we’re not arguing or drawing a conclusion that the boy defrauded the senator to get to UK. Someone is acting emotionlessly here.
The truth is that something is wrong somewhere. While the story is still unfolding, we must tread with caution until we get the fact.
However, for the sake of humanity, we sincerely sympathize with Senator Ike Ekweremadu’s family for the unfortunate situation.

When the politicians refuse to do the right thing, thinking that it is only the masses that will suffer, they will be surprised to see that “what goes around comes around.”
