The disturbing news of the popular actress Adah Ameh has come like a shocking wave to many Nigerians.

According to the report, she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, but she could not make it.

The actress was said to be a guest at an oil company toyshop when she suddenly slumped.

She died after collapsing in Warri at the age of 48 after she was rushed to the NNPC hospital facility where she was pronounced dead before she could be attended to.

She has been in the Nigerian movie industry for more than two years and she came to the limelight when she featured in the most notable characters as Anita in the 1996 movie titled Domitilla and as Emu Johnson in the award-winning Nigerian TV series titled The Johnsons.

Ada Ameh appeared in the television series The Johnsons alongside other Nollywood actors such as Charles Inojie, Chinedu Ikedieze, and Olumide Oworu.

The Nigerian movie star lost her only daughter, whom she gave birth to at age 14 in October 2020. According to the information gathered from Wikipedia, she suffered from mental health issues prior to her death.

Adah Ameh, a native of Idoma in Benue State, was born and raised in Ajegunle in Lagos State, Nigeria. Ameh had both primary and secondary school education in Lagos State but would eventually quit school at age 14.

The popular Nigerian Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh, was born in the Ajegunle area of Lagos State on May 15, 1974.
